Michael Murphy, Videographer/Photographer
-
EMMY award-winning producer and editor. Creative director, DP, Production Manager. Mike moved into shooting news working for CBS in Birmingham, and then BACK to the FOX station as a news photog. Sure, there was tons of action and it was exciting. Over the years, Mike spent countless hours editing stories all night long in the back of a live truck. However, there came the point where Mike had "seen it all". Too many dead bodies, too many natural disasters, and the inside of too many city council meetings. So, he moved into “Creative Services.” From Birmingham to Detroit to Philadelphia, he had been honored to work with some of the field's most talented and creative people. After eight years as a Promotion Manager in the City of Brotherly love, something said: “hey, why don’t we kick this city life to the curb and move to a tiny little town that sits at 9,000 feet above sea level?” (that “something” was his wife). Now Mike is crushing it as a video freelancer and ShuBu Creative is lucky to have him on board.
